Stari Grad Soup Kitchen suspends acceptance of Qurban meat

Given the warm weather and relatively high temperatures for this time of year, and at the suggestion of the cantonal sanitary and veterinary inspection, the management of the "Stari Grad" Soup Kitchen has decided to suspend the acceptance of Qurban meat starting from Wednesday, September 14, 2016, it was announced from the Soup Kitchen, reports Patria.

- When accepting Qurban meat from our good fellow citizens, we noticed that some individuals kept the meat outside the refrigerator, which we cannot use. We ask all citizens and good people for understanding regarding this decision, because we feed over 1,200 of our fellow citizens, and we cannot take such a risk of using Qurban meat in their diet that has been kept outside the refrigerator for three days - explained Zilha Šeta, manager of the "Stari Grad" Soup Kitchen.
