Narod i Pravda: Prosecution must react after recording of SDA leadership's corrupt practices is released

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - After Semir Efendić, Mayor of Novi Grad, released a recording featuring several high-ranking SDA officials, including SDA Vice-President Asim Sarajlić, discussing various corrupt practices, Narod i Pravda is calling for the competent prosecution to get involved in this case ex officio.

After the internal elections in SDA in Sarajevo Canton concluded with the election of Fikret Prevljak as the president of the Cantonal Board of SDA, his opponent, Semir Efendić, dissatisfied with the violation of procedures, released a recording of a conversation between high-ranking SDA officials, in which they are heard discussing various corrupt practices or talking about previous corrupt practices.

"We insist that the Cantonal Prosecution of Sarajevo get involved in this case ex officio because the recording features the confession of Asim Sarajlić, one of the highest officials of SDA, about various corrupt practices from the past period, as well as discussions about future illegal and corrupt practices. This recording only confirms what has been clearly observed and known for a long time, and that is that the very top of SDA is behind corruption, nepotism, and various criminal activities," stated Narod i Pravda in their reaction.

The party believes that the recording confirms that the married couple Izetbegović, Bakir and Sebija, are trying to gain control over absolutely all spheres of life where they can achieve political control, and that they do not shy away from using all methods.

"We believe that several scandalous things are heard on the recording. The first is certainly that SDA resorts to internal vote rigging, which certainly further confirms the allegations that SDA was behind the mass vote rigging in the 2018 General Elections and that there is a real danger that the same rigging will be repeated in the 2020 Local Elections. The recording also reveals that the head of the Intelligence and Security Agency, Osman Mehmedagić Osmica, according to the claims of SDA Vice-President Asim Sarajlić, participated in vote buying in 2018 during the election of Abdulah Skaka as the mayor of Sarajevo. Then, it is clearly heard that there is an agreement to include future ministers from SDA in the KS Government in corrupt practices, primarily the future minister for veterans' affairs and the minister for culture and sport," the statement from Narod i Pravda further says, reminding that SDA had "bought" deputies in the KS Assembly in an identical manner to overthrow the current government.

Narod i Pravda reminds that they have previously clearly warned that the current SDA has completely privatized state institutions and abuses them in every way and on a daily basis for the personal needs of a narrow circle of people. The recording, according to Narod i Pravda, is clear evidence that corruption, nepotism, and brutal theft orchestrated by SDA permeate all spheres of life.
