ORDER: Citizens of HNK prohibited from moving outside their place of residence

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Cantonal Civil Protection Headquarters of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton at its sixteenth emergency telephone session held today issued an order prohibiting the movement of citizens in the area of HNK outside their place of residence, with the aim of restricting civilian traffic between municipalities/cities within HNK.

The order states that movement outside the place of residence will be allowed to citizens only if they possess a permit issued by the cantonal/municipal/city civil protection headquarters.

The municipal/city civil protection headquarters is ordered to be very rigorous when issuing permits to individuals with a justified explanation from the headquarters/employer (free flow of goods), and to persons who need to be provided with necessary medical assistance.

Exempted from this order are the services of the Ministry of Interior, the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of HNK, judicial institutions in the area of HNK, firefighting services and emergency medical assistance, as well as exemptions from the adopted orders of the civil protection headquarters.

The municipal/city civil protection headquarters is ordered to timely submit the issued permits for the movement of citizens to the Ministry of Interior of HNK.

The order enters into force on April 10, 2020 at 5:00 AM.
