TENSE IN KOSOVO Vučić convenes National Security Council, Rakić announces reactions if Albanians launch actions

SARAJevo, (Patria) - We had a meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and that meeting was never shorter, said Goran Rakić, adding:

"I received assurances that Serbia will always be with its people," said the representative of the Serb List, B92 reports.

Vučić will, as he says, address the media after the session of the National Security Council, which begins immediately after the meeting of the Serbian President with Serbs from Kosovo.

"If the Kosovo Security Forces start taking away our vehicles and license plates, we will respond with all means against it, with peaceful and democratic resistance of the people. We do not know what this will turn into and how the situation on the ground will unfold, but I repeat, in a peaceful and democratic way," said Rakić.

He also added that Serbs in Kosovo are constantly pressured to re-register vehicles with Serbian license plates, and that only two people have done so.

"If Pristina forcibly starts some action, we will block all crossings and entrances to Kosovo. That's all for now," he said and repeated that it was never a shorter meeting with Vučić.

"Thank you for receiving us so quickly and for the state of Serbia being with us," Rakić concluded his address to the media.
