Attacker who killed two BiH Armed Forces soldiers in Sarajevo committed suicide

An unknown man killed two and wounded one soldier of the Armed Forces of BiH. The man killed the soldiers in a betting shop, and after leaving the betting shop, he also shot at a GRAS bus. During the shooting, the driver and two passengers were slightly injured, but not, as stated by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton Irfan Nefić, by bullets but by glass fragments.

23:35 - The Ministry of Defense of BiH officially confirmed that two members of the Armed Forces of BiH were killed, outside a military location in the immediate vicinity of the Rajlovac barracks. It was also confirmed that one member of the AF BiH was slightly injured.

22:12 - SIPA has formed a special team following the murder in Rajlovac. Their investigators are assisting in the apprehension of the killer of two soldiers of the Armed Forces of BiH.

22:00 - Dragan Lukač, director of the Federal Police Administration, is at the scene near the Safet Zajko barracks. He stated that it is too early to say whether it is an act of terrorism.

- We need to wait for all the facts, determine the motives, and only then see what it is about. My main message to the citizens is that there is no need for greater alarm on a larger scale - Lukač told N1.

Two soldiers of the Armed Forces of BiH were killed in a shooting that took place this evening in the Sarajevo settlement of Rajlovac, near the barracks. 

The Ministry of Defense of BiH confirmed to the BiH news agency Patria that they received a report that two soldiers were killed, but they do not yet know all the details.

- Our people are on the ground. Information is arriving from the field every moment, but we still do not know the real situation and we cannot draw conclusions yet - confirmed a source from the Ministry of Defense of BiH for the Patria agency.

The police have blocked the entire part of the city where the soldiers were killed. Military police and special units are also on the scene.

The police are intensively searching for the perpetrators.
