(Patria) - A brutal attack occurred near the Markale market tonight. According to portal Radiosarajevo.ba, the attacker stabbed two men with a knife.
We unofficially learned that one of the injured sustained severe and life-threatening injuries.
Tram traffic is currently suspended, and police officers are at the scene, having cordoned off a wider area with yellow police tape.
As can be seen in the photos from the scene, emergency medical services also intervened.
A source close to the investigation revealed that the attacker has been apprehended and is currently under the control of Sarajevo police officers.
