Attack on Vučić ordered from Serbia, 10,000 KM paid

The attack on Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić on July 11 in Potočari during the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica was ordered from Serbia and carried out by a group of fans from Sarajevo, several fans from Sandžak, and a small group of Fenerbahçe fans from Turkey, whose role in the entire organization is not that important, claims a source of the BiH news agency Patria, close to the fan group.

The attack was ordered from Sandžak, claims this source, and Patria is currently publishing only a part of his statement.

Although the direct motives are unknown to him, this source further claims, the entire organization of the attack cost 10,000 KM, and the money was allegedly, as he claims, handed over to one or more persons in Sarajevo.

A source of the Patria agency, close to the fan group whose task was to provoke an incident in Srebrenica, claims that the initial plan was for the fans to throw three flares at Vučić, but things suddenly went in a different direction.

When the fans threw the first bottles and stones at the Serbian Prime Minister, things got out of control, the crowd of people who until then had no idea what was being prepared started moving towards the Prime Minister and his security, so the fans didn't even get to light the flares before Vučić was already safe.

Serbian security services had warned even before Vučić's arrival in Potočari that hooligans were preparing an attack on the Serbian Prime Minister. Vučić himself stated at a press conference after the incident that the attack on him was organized by fans from Novi Pazar.
