ATTACK ON CONSTITUTIONAL ORDER Vidović questioned at BiH Prosecutor's Office

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Questioning continued at the BiH Prosecutor's Office in the case of an attack on the constitutional order regarding the conclusions of the RS National Assembly on the transfer of competencies from the state to the entity. 

The Minister of Finance of Republika Srpska, Zora Vidović, was questioned today, and told the media that the decisions from the session of the "RS National Assembly did not violate the BiH Constitution."

"I was a witness in relation to the case that is already known to you, and I believe that we are not violating the BiH Constitution. On the contrary, RS wants to work and adopt its regulations in accordance with the BiH Constitution. We want the competencies that were taken away from us to be returned, and that is in accordance with the Constitution," she said.

She emphasized that she believes that "the investigation should be suspended."

"Therefore, I believe that this case that has been formed has no outcome of any guilt for RS, because we respect absolutely everything, and that is why we adopted a conclusion at the RS National Assembly session that everything we do is exclusively in accordance with the BiH Constitution," she said.

At that session on December 10, 2021, Vidović explained the information on the transfer of competencies in the field of indirect taxation, which is one of the three competencies whose withdrawal was voted on.
