Armed attackers with balaclavas rob Pavlović Bank in Bijeljina

Two armed attackers entered the branch of "Pavlović Bank" in Majevička Street in Bijeljina this morning around 8:30 and carried out a robbery. The employee who was at her workplace in the bank is in a state of shock and was taken to the Emergency Department of the Bijeljina Health Centre.

The attackers were wearing balaclavas, say citizens who were at the scene, reports BN, as carried by the Patria agency.

- I happened to be there by pure chance. Two young men with balaclavas entered the bank. In my estimation, they are about 20 years old. Everything happened in a flash. I tried to stop them, but they fled in an unknown direction. At the door, they left a cartridge case and some money. It was terrifying; they could have riddled me like a sack - says eyewitness to the robbery, Mile Karanović.

He adds that his neighbours watched as the young men prepared for the robbery.

- They were sitting across from the bank. At one point, they pulled on their balaclavas and rushed into the bank - claims Karanović.
