Migrant stabbed in Belgrade after fight, police searching for attacker

According to Serbian Blic, an Afghan citizen named Jafar, about 25 years old, was seriously injured in the park near the Belgrade bus station when, after a fight, an as yet unknown person, also a migrant, stabbed him in the stomach, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

The stabbing was preceded by a conflict between two migrants that escalated into a general fight involving about 20 Kurds on one side and Afghans on the other.

People from the Commissariat for Refugees, who were distributing humanitarian aid in the area, were the first to react. They called emergency services and the police.

An emergency medical team transported the injured man to resuscitation. The police quickly restored order in the area where the refugees are located and are searching for the attacker.
