(Patria) - Former police commissioner of Una-Sana Canton Ramo Brkić, who fled Bosnia and Herzegovina on February 27, 2016, has been arrested in Slovenia.
Immediately after his arrest, the former commissioner of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Una-Sana Canton was brought before a judge in Ptuj, from where he was transferred to Maribor for pre-trial detention.
Incidentally, two warrants had been issued for Brkić. One relates to the criminal offense of giving gifts and other benefits, while the second, supplemented warrant relates to serving an 11-year prison sentence for organized crime and other offenses.
