(Patria) - BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik finally gave consent for the use of helicopters of the Armed Forces of BiH to extinguish fires in Herzegovina, Patria has learned.

Dodik relented and gave his approval, and on the same day that it is raining throughout BiH.

But, better late than never.

Earlier, the ignoring of requests for assistance from local authorities by elected officials was fiercely criticized, which was characterized as a disrespect of duty.

We remind you that the Chairman of the BiH Presidency Šefik Džaferović and BiH Presidency member Željko Komšić previously gave consent for the engagement of the Armed Forces immediately upon receiving the urgent request, while consent was not given by the cabinet of BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik.
