
(Patria) - Two men, citizens of Afghanistan, born in 1999 and 2003, have been deprived of their liberty for attempted murder after last night's shooting near the migrant center in Blažuj.
Five people sustained serious bodily injuries, while doctors have not yet given a prognosis for one man. Two men are in life-threatening condition, and a firearm was used in the attack.
Spokesperson of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton, Mersiha Novalić, said that during the night several witnesses were questioned, and several individuals were subjected to criminal processing.
She emphasized that the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton achieved significant cooperation with colleagues from the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies, the Service for Foreigners' Affairs, the Ministries of Interior of Central Bosnia Canton, Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Una-Sana Canton, and the Intelligence and Security Agency.
Novalić stated that the continuation of the investigation is being conducted under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor of Sarajevo Canton, and that last night a search of the Reception Center was carried out, as well as at other locations during the day, about which more information will be provided later.
