After argument and physical altercation, young man shot in the leg, attackers fled

On Saturday around 2:00 PM, the Fourth Police Station, Ilidža, was informed that H. E., born in 1988 from Hadžići, was brought to the Institute of Emergency Medical Assistance of the Sarajevo Canton, having sustained injuries from a firearm in the area of the right lower leg, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Police officers from the Ilidža Police Station conducted an interview with the injured person. The wounded young man stated that he was driving his vehicle from the direction of the Mostarsko raskršće roundabout towards the BP Petrol station, and that he was stopped by two unknown persons who were traveling in a VW Golf IV vehicle with unknown license plates. After a brief verbal argument and physical altercation, a firearm was used by the unknown persons.

After the shooting, the unknown individuals fled in an unknown direction.

The young man was kept for further treatment at the University Clinical Center Sarajevo. The duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed about the incident. Police officers are working on shedding light on the event.
