After Paris: Attacks on Muslims in Britain increased by three hundred percent

A report by a British government organization that works to prevent Islamophobia on the island states that racist attacks have increased by 300 percent following the attacks in Paris on November 13. During the past week in Britain, over 115 people who appeared to be Muslim were attacked. 

The victims of the attacks are mostly girls and women between 14 and 45 years old who covered their faces, and the attackers are white people between 15 and 35 years old. 

The number of victims of verbal and physical violence was established based on police reports, but it is suspected that this figure is much higher, and that many victims are afraid to seek help from the police. Most of the attacks occurred in public places, on the streets or in public transport. 

A third of the victims are women dressed in Islamic tradition, while as many as eight attacks on very young children were reported.
