AFTER THE DECISION OF THE KS ASSEMBLY Muamer Bandić: In a legally regulated country, only the sky is above final and enforceable court judgments!

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - At today's session of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, my initiative, which enables the payment of court claims from employment of employees in administrative bodies, public and cantonal enterprises, public institutions in the field of social protection and the Police Administration in the amount of 16 million KM arising from the Law on Enforcement Procedure, was rejected, states Member of the Assembly Muamer Bandić (Party for BiH).

"The purpose of the initiative was to abolish the illegal practice of the Sarajevo Canton not enforcing final and enforceable court decisions related to the claims of its own employees, and its goal was to make a small step towards creating a legal and credible public administration in the Sarajevo Canton. Unfortunately, it did not pass.

Therefore, the Sarajevo Canton continues to violate its own laws and regulations, which, as a lawyer and legalist, terrifies me. A government that does not respect legal norms itself sends a signal to everyone in society that laws are dead letters on paper! What is the point of laws if the government itself ignores them? And then they wonder why some idiots do not respect traffic regulations. Well, ladies and gentlemen, you are their example and role model!", says Bandić.

He adds that the initiative was not supported by the clubs of: People and Justice, Our Party, and SDP of BiH.

"Those who trampled on the Constitution of FBiH continue to trample on court judgments as well!", concludes Bandić.
