After China, BIMAL oil also on the Malaysian market

After achieving exports to China during the past year, the edible oil production plant BIMAL from Brčko has shipped the first quantities of edible oil to Malaysia. The first consignment of goods was exported to a buyer in Malaysia at the end of May this year, followed by new orders from the Far East, the company announced, reports the Patria News Agency.

- The first, trial consignment of goods, which was shipped from Brčko, was well received, and since then, six more flexi-tanks of oil, totaling 170,000 liters, have been delivered to the same buyer, confirmed Nataša Pucar, Director of Corporate Communications at STUDEN Holding, which includes the BIMAL plant.

BIMAL has a strategic vision for the development and placement of its products in new markets. For many years, the Brčko plant has continuously exported to the European Union, Turkey, and other Middle Eastern countries, and since last year, it has also been exporting to China.

- By constantly increasing production capacities and investing in product quality, BIMAL strives to create opportunities for its high-quality products to penetrate new markets, such as distant China and Malaysia, Pucar points out.

From the privatization of the BIMAL plant in 2002 to the present day, over 100,000,000 KM has been invested and engaged in the development of production capacities and operations, and BIMAL is today among the most modern oil mills in Southeast Europe.

In the period before privatization, the BIMAL plant processed about 26,000 tons of oilseeds annually, while BIMAL today processes more than 120,000 tons of oilseeds annually, which is an almost five-fold increase in production capacities. As one of the leading edible oil plants in the region, BIMAL is an export-oriented company that places more than 70% of its products on foreign markets.
