After the incident at KŠC Stup: Parents will request police presence in front of the school

Regarding the alleged kidnapping of a boy in front of the Primary School of the Catholic School Center in Stup, the Parents' Council held a session, attended by the principal and director, as well as the father of the little boy.

It cannot yet be stated with certainty whether it was an attempted kidnapping. A police investigation is underway. The father hopes that the footage from the school's camera will help shed light on this unfortunate event. There is still much to investigate, which is why it is unfortunate that the media reported on the case so uncritically.

It was concluded that the school administration and the parents' council will take certain measures to increase children's safety:

-       consider the need to improve surveillance cameras;
-  request the Ministry of Internal Affairs for police officers to be in front of the school before the start of classes, during the main break, and at the end of classes;
-  warn parents and drivers transporting children to be more careful when handing over children, upon arrival and departure from school.

We remind you that a female person wanted to pick up the boy, who had already entered the bus, but the driver did not allow it, and instead called the father on the phone.
