Investigative judge of the High Court Radomir Ivanović ordered a 30-day detention for the President of the Municipality of Budva Lazar Rađenović, Prime Minister's advisor Aleksandar Tičić, acting director of the waterworks Milenko Medigović, former secretary for property protection Novak Klisić, and former deputy president of the Municipality of Budva Dragan Marović, Montenegrin Vijesti reported, as conveyed by the BiH news agency Patria.
Former director of “Tradeunique Montenegro” Goran Bojanić was released, while geodesy engineer Đorđije Pavlović was subjected to surveillance measures.
Former president of the Municipality of Budva, Rajko Kuljača, was granted the status of a cooperating witness and his detention was lifted.
All of them, as stated by special prosecutor Milivoje Katnić, were arrested on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of abuse of official position committed in an organized manner and in complicity.
The arrested denied committing these criminal offenses before special prosecutor Lidija Vukčević.
