After vile accusations of standing behind the bombing: Hadžibajrić sues Handanagić for defamation

The current mayor of Sarajevo's Old Town municipality and independent candidate for this position in the upcoming elections, Ibrahim Hadžibajrić, today filed a lawsuit with the Municipal Court in Sarajevo against Suad Handanagić, a candidate of the SDA-SBB coalition, writes the Patria News Agency.

Yesterday, after a bomb was thrown at the house of the Civic Alliance candidate for mayor of Old Town, Halid Solaković, Handanagić, in his first reaction, directly accused Hadžibajrić of this attack, stating that he fears for his and his family's lives.

- I have endured all sorts of things during this campaign. Vile fabrications, low and dirty blows, but this has now gone too far. Enough is enough! I have sued Handanagić for defamation and lies. He has caused me emotional pain, tarnished my name, and disturbed my family, Hadžibajrić told NAP.
