(Patria) - Israel is withdrawing its diplomats from Turkey to "re-evaluate ties" between the two countries.
Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen decided on such a move after criticism leveled against Israel for the war in Gaza by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a rally in support of the Palestinian people in Istanbul today.
"Given the grave statements coming from Turkey, I have ordered the return of diplomatic representatives there in order to conduct a reevaluation of the relations between Israel and Turkey," Cohen stated on Twitter.
