(Patria) - The investigation into the murder of Sarajevo police officers Adis Šehović and Davor Vujinović is in its final phase, and a prosecutorial decision in this case is expected very soon.

- The investigation is in its final phase and a prosecutorial decision is expected soon - they briefly responded from that judicial institution.

Faktor unofficially learns from sources close to the investigation that the investigation so far in this case has resulted in the collection of a sufficient number of pieces of evidence necessary to file an indictment against (currently) three suspects.

It is publicly known that Aleksandar Macan, Savo Marinković, and Marko Trifković Žižan, all from East Sarajevo, are suspected of participating in the murder of Šehović and Vujinović.

All three are in custody, by order of the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo.

At the beginning of the year, parts of an automatic rifle, as well as a black "Seat Leon", were finally found in the area of East Sarajevo, and which, as was heard from the investigation at the time, are suspected with a high degree of probability to be the weapon and vehicle used in the murder of the police officers.

The murder occurred in the early morning of October 26, 2018. At that time, a large number of known members of car theft gangs from Sarajevo, East Sarajevo, Pale, Sokolac, and Lukavica were detained.

In November of last year, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton announced that the case was solved as far as they were concerned and that they had submitted a report to the Sarajevo Cantonal Prosecutor's Office.
