Largest donors for reconstruction: Edmond and Maja Offermann will be the first to ride the Trebević Cable Car

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Sarajevo Mayor Abdulah Skaka said at today's press conference ahead of April 6th, City Day and the launch of the Trebević Cable Car, that the cable car will be officially opened at 11 AM, and the first to ride it will be Edmond and Maja Offermann, who are the largest donors for the cable car's reconstruction. 

The ride will be free for citizens starting at 2 PM. 

Numerous delegations, more than 30 of them, will attend the opening of the Trebević Cable Car, including the mayors of Zagreb, Vienna, Ankara...

Tonight, the exhibition "Uspinjača" will be opened in Sarajevo's City Hall, and a series of commemorative events will be held in Sarajevo on April 6th. 

- Starting at 12 PM, an exhibition with citizens' memories will be opened along Sarači Street, and the three best photographs will be awarded. In front of the Sarajevo market, a spectacular exhibition will be opened, which will be displayed in most shop windows in Ferhadija and Titova Street -  said the Mayor of Sarajevo.

The celebration of Sarajevo City Day will conclude with a formal session of the City Council, where the April 6th Awards will be presented.
