Russia's most powerful woman addresses the House of Peoples of the BiH PA

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The address by Valentina Ivanovna Matviyenko, Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, is scheduled for Monday, April 23, at a session of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly.

It has not yet been announced what the topic of the address by the Chairperson of the Upper House of the Russian Federal Assembly, Valentina Ivanovna Matviyenko, will be.

Matviyenko is a permanent member of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, and from 2003 to 2011 she was the governor of Saint Petersburg. She is considered the third most powerful person in the country, immediately after Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

She is closely associated with Russian President Vladimir Putin, which also secured her victory in the elections for governor in Saint Petersburg, Putin's hometown.
