
(Patria) - A school in the Swedish city of Orebro is currently closed due to a report of "automatic weapon fire". According to the police report, which is constantly updated, five people have been shot, but the degree of their injuries is unknown.
It is believed that "several people" were injured at Risbergska school in Orebro, local media report – and the police are urging the public to stay away from the scene.
The police issued a statement calling on the public to follow the instructions of police officers at the scene.
"The operation concerns threats of lethal violence. The operation is ongoing," the police statement said.

The incident at Risbergska school in Örebro has been assessed as "serious", with a large number of police officers present at the scene.
One person trapped in the school told the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet: "We heard several shots outside".
Initial reports indicate that several people have been injured, and six ambulances are on site.
"An information point will be set up where relatives and others with questions can gather. People are again urged not to go to schools and hospitals," the police announced.
