(Patria) - At least 50,000 Syrians have fled Lebanon due to Israeli attacks, the International Organization for Migration of the United Nations announced yesterday.
The organization states that this number does not include those who likely fled two days ago, after Israel ordered the evacuation of the entire population of the southern suburbs of Beirut.
Before the fall of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad last year, Lebanon provided refuge for more than a million Syrian refugees who fled the civil war in their country.
