
Exports from the Federation of BiH increased by 5.6% in March compared to February, and by 7.5% compared to February of last year.
The Federation exported mostly agricultural products, ores, goods from the processing industry, and electricity.
According to data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics, FBiH achieved exports in the total value of 525,433 KM in March 2015, which is 28,071 KM or 5.6% more compared to February 2015, or 36,875 KM or 7.5% more compared to March of the previous year.
At the same time, imports into the Federation of BiH also grew.
In the same month, imports were achieved in the value of 908,680 KM, which is 105,477 KM or 13.1% more compared to February 2015, or 34,305 KM or 3.9% more compared to March of the previous year.
In the period January – March 2015, exports grew by an average of 6.9% each month, and imports grew by an average of 13.6%. The share of the Federation of BiH in the total exports of Bosnia and Herzegovina for March 2015 is 69.5%, and in the total imports 66.1%.
The countries to which FBiH exported the most are: Germany, Italy, and Croatia. BiH also imported the most from these countries, it was announced, reports NAP.
