Mayor Muzur hosted families of fallen ARBiH soldiers of Catholic and Orthodox faith

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Municipality of Ilidža today hosted members of the Association "Organization of Families of Martyrs and Fallen Soldiers of the Municipality of Ilidža".

On this occasion, parents or wives of fallen soldiers of Catholic and Orthodox faith, according to data provided by the Association "Organization of Families of Martyrs and Fallen Soldiers of the Municipality of Ilidža", received monetary gifts of 100 KM each, personally handed over by the mayor.

"I am glad to see you during a time that is very difficult due to the coronavirus pandemic that has been causing us problems for two years now. On this occasion, I wish Catholics a Merry Christmas once again, and everyone else happy New Year holidays, and may all that was bad remain in the year that is ending. Of course, I also wish you who are of Orthodox faith, as well as your families, a happy upcoming Orthodox Christmas," said Mayor Muzur in his address, adding:

"We do not want and must not forget the veteran population, especially the families of those who gave their lives for the survival of our homeland - Bosnia and Herzegovina."

Members of the Association, led by president Almin Škrijelj, thanked the Mayor of Ilidža Municipality for the monetary gifts, but also for understanding the needs and problems of this population with special sensitivity and a great deal of understanding.
