Mayor Huskić hosted a reception for Tešanj entrepreneurs

The Mayor of Tešanj Municipality, Suad Huskić, hosted a reception today for managers of companies from Tešanj that were ranked among the top 100 in Bosnia and Herzegovina according to the results of Poslovne novine.

- We are genuinely pleased with every success of our business entities, as we see the success of the local community in it. Today we are together to congratulate and thank the most successful. It is evident that the capital, knowledge, and entrepreneurship of people from the Tešanj municipality have found their way to success. Along with all of this, their hearts and souls have remained devoted to the municipality of Tešanj and Bosnia and Herzegovina - said Mayor Huskić.

As is known, the municipality of Tešanj represents a very economically active and dynamic area that is home or origin to renowned and very successful business entities. The Tešanj economy also recorded a growth trend in 2015, with an increase in exports, turnover, and exports. In the category of large companies among the top 100, as many as seven companies from Tešanj were included: HIFA-OIL, MADI, PREVENT FAD, MANN+HUMMEL BA, NAPREDAK, POBJEDA, and AS. Among the top 100 exporters from BiH are MANN+HUMMEL BA, HIFA-OIL, and POBJEDA. In terms of investments in new projects, the highest ranked are PREVENT FAD Jelah, MANN+HUMMEL BA, NAPREDAK, HIFA-OIL, and MADI with KM 3,887,619.

In the category of medium-sized companies among the top 100, companies ENKER, EUROPA TRADE, MEDENA-COMERC, and INOX AJANOVIĆ were included based on various criteria, while in the category of small companies among the top 100, three companies from Tešanj were included: EURO KANTIĆ, HRAST, and ADI MARK.

- We used the meeting to discuss future plans and the challenges that lie ahead on the path to the EU. I took the opportunity to confirm our full commitment to continuing the successful cooperation between the public and private sectors through dialogue and partnerships - emphasized Mayor Huskić.

He added that the individual successes of the companies are reflected in the constant growth in the number of employees, and that the wide range of development in various business sectors such as trade, metal, wood, and food industries, etc., is particularly encouraging.

The reception was also attended by managers of successful companies headquartered outside Tešanj: HIFA PETROL, KLAS, VISPAK, MS&WOOD, MLIN I PEKARA LJUBAČE.
