Last night at 10:45 PM, police officers of the First Police Station deprived V.D., born in 1990 in Sarajevo, where he resides, of his liberty due to possession and use of narcotics, the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton announced, as reported by the Bosnian news agency Patria.
The prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed of the aforementioned, and measures prescribed by law will be taken against the said person.
At 10:50 PM on Wilson's Promenade street, municipality of Novo Sarajevo, police officers of the Second Police Station deprived M.R., born in 1995, and B.B.H., born in 1995, residents of Sarajevo, of their liberty on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense under Article 239 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Possession and enabling use of narcotics).
- During a search, a certain amount of plant matter resembling the narcotic drug marijuana and one joint were found and seized from them.
The prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed of the aforementioned, and M.R. and B.B.I. were handed over to the Department for Detention of Persons Deprived of Liberty of the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton.
