A fatal traffic accident occurred last night around 6:30 PM on the main road Bijeljina-Zvornik in the village of Branjevo, reports the Patria news agency.
The traffic accident involved a Scania bus driven by B.S. and a cyclist L.J. (born 1949), who died at the scene.
Police officers from the Traffic Police Department in Zvornik conducted an on-site investigation.
The duty prosecutor from the District Prosecutor's Office in Bijeljina was informed of all the above and ordered all necessary measures and actions to determine the exact causes that led to the traffic accident. The investigation is ongoing, the Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska stated.
