43-year-old female pedestrian killed on Bijeljina-Tuzla road

A fatal traffic accident occurred last night at 6:20 PM on the main road Bijeljina-Tuzla in Maleševci, Ugljevik municipality, reports the Patria news agency.

The traffic accident involved a passenger car Golf 4, driven by R.G., and pedestrian B.L. (1972) from Ugljevik. B.L. died from injuries sustained in the accident at the Bijeljina Medical Center.

With the consent of the duty prosecutor, police officers from the Ugljevik Police Station conducted an on-site investigation. From 7:30 PM to 8:10 PM, traffic was completely suspended on the said section of the main road.

The acting prosecutor ordered the undertaking of all necessary measures and actions to determine the exact causes and circumstances that led to this traffic accident in which a human life was lost, the RS Ministry of Interior announced.
