POLICE ON THE CASE: Youth from Dračevo tell Roads of FBiH: The graffiti will not be removed!

The graffiti glorifying the so-called Herzeg-Bosnia, painted on a retaining wall in the village of Dračevo near Čapljina, which was created in April this year, is still visible and has not been painted over, Patria reports.

From the public company Roads of the Federation yesterday told Patria „that the Youth Association 'Hercegovac' carried out the graffiti on the retaining wall (road structure) and requested to pay a fee, they were given instructions on how and where they can advertise, and they, like everyone else, were ordered to return the structure not intended for that purpose to its original state“.

But today, threats literally arrived from 'Hercegovac', and it was stated that the graffiti will not be removed, because the content of the inscription bothers the authorities from Roads of FBiH (?), and they also stated that they cannot guarantee safety for those who might come to remove the graffiti (?).

Boško Rajič, president of this Association, addressed a letter which was published by some Herzegovinian portals.

-Now the police and the Prosecutor's Office should be involved in this entire case, in addition to the Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs, which should paint over the wall.

We remind you, the public company Roads of FBiH sent an urgent request to the Association to return the retaining wall to its original state, and if they do not do so, it was ordered to act in accordance with Article 65 of the Law on Roads of FBiH and the Rulebook on placing advertising signs on roads, and to file a report with the Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs, and to paint the retaining wall at the owner's expense.

We remind you, the youth from the Association 'Hercegovac' painted a graffiti on the retaining wall next to the main road M17, in the village of Dračevo near Čapljina, at the intersection for Neum (Svitava). The graffiti reads: 'In vain heroes write history, when those who erase the truth appear. Herzeg-Bosnia gave sons, and today there is not even a word of thanks!'

In addition to the graffiti, the coat of arms of Herzeg-Bosnia was also painted. It is an offensive graffiti for the other two constituent peoples in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
