Bomb thrown at Zavidovići Police Station: Suspicion of a new terrorist attack

Last night around 0:50 AM, an explosive device was thrown at the building of the Police Station in Zavidovići, but fortunately, there were no injuries, confirmed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton for Patria.

Also, from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton, it was confirmed that a joint operational team has been formed, consisting of members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton, the Federal Police Administration, and members of SIPA.

- There are indications that this case contains elements of the criminal offense of terrorism, and the proceedings in this case have been taken over by the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, which will conduct further investigation and by whose order a joint team of SIPA, the Federal Police Administration, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton has been formed, which will work on collecting operational intelligence, and identifying and locating the perpetrator - it is stated in the statement from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton.

As announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton, the explosive device was thrown onto the roof of the Zavidovići Police Station building, which houses the personal documents issuance office.
