Naše stranke's reaction to Milanović's insults to the Mothers of Srebrenica: The Croatian Army has no business on BiH territory

(Patria) - Naše stranke reacted to Zoran Milanović's statement in which he called the Mothers of Srebrenica old women in an attempt to belittle them.

"The insult that Zoran Milanović directed at the Mothers of Srebrenica is an insult to every civilized person. The years that adorn the Mothers of Srebrenica are years of dignity and sorrow. All the Mothers of Srebrenica have grieved for their murdered children for more years than they rejoiced in their growing up. Anyone reasonable expresses respect for such a fact, and it is equal to the worst inhumanity to deepen their pain or belittle them. A man who can devalue their views because of their age has lost the characteristics of humanity and cannot respect mothers at all, not even Croatian ones. We are sorry that Croatia has chosen such a president for itself and we hope it will not repeat that mistake. The future will be ashamed of Milanović, and the brightest pages of our past will be written with the names of the Mothers of Srebrenica.

We are of the opinion that Croatian soldiers have no business on BiH territory. This insult by Milanović towards women who have suffered the most due to the war convinces us that there are dangerous intentions behind his efforts for the Croatian Army to participate in international military missions in BiH."
