On Manjača: Demonstration Exercise Conducted in an Unknown Environment

Ten members of the European Command Special Operations Units of the US Army and 18 members each of the special units of the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the Federation of BiH and Republika Srpska demonstrated excellent skills today on Manjača, which they acquired and improved during a one-month training conducted within the framework of the Joint Combined Exchange Training (JCET) program, the first of its kind held in BiH, the US Embassy in Sarajevo announced, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

This was also an excellent opportunity for members of the US Special Forces to train together with colleagues from partner countries, during which they worked on developing military tactics and skills in an unknown environment, while strengthening bilateral relations and interoperability with members of units from partner countries.

Military Attaché, Brigadier Scott Miller, emphasized that the exercise is the result of cooperation and training that the US Army conducts with special police units of the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the Federation of BiH and RS, while Chargé d'Affaires Nicholas Hill pointed out that the cooperation and coordination of the Ministries of Internal Affairs from Republika Srpska and the Federation are very important and expressed hope that similar training programs will be organized in the future.
