Despite the ceasefire agreement, fighting in eastern Ukraine continues, and during the last 24 hours, six Ukrainian soldiers were killed, announced Ukrainian army spokesperson Andriy Lysenko, reports AFP, as stated by the Patria news agency.
- During the past day, six Ukrainian soldiers were killed and 12 were wounded as a result of serious provocations, Lysenko stated at a press conference.
This is the highest number of casualties in the last 10 days, after the foreign ministers of Ukraine, Russia, Germany, and France expressed serious concern over the conflict despite the February ceasefire.
