(Patria) - The Pakistani army says that "terrorists" operating from Iran have killed four members of the border patrol in the southwestern province of Balochistan, BBC reports.
The army statement said officials are talking to their Iranian counterparts to prevent such incidents in the future. The attack took place in the Kech district.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
Separatists in Balochistan have been fighting the government for decades. The province has a long, porous border.
Last month, nine Pakistani security officials were killed and at least 13 wounded in a suicide attack in that part of the country.
