At the Border of BiH: Serbian Citizens Arrested on Interpol Warrants

Officers of the Zvornik Border Police Unit yesterday arrested two citizens of the Republic of Serbia after border checks revealed that warrants had been issued for them, reports the news agency Patria.  

The Border Police of BiH stated that Interpol Madrid issued a warrant for I.Š. (1985) for the criminal offense of drug trafficking, while A.K. (1981) was sought by Interpol Belgrade for the criminal offense of robbery theft. The individuals were checked upon entering Bosnia and Herzegovina at the international border crossings of Šepak and Karakaj. I.Š. and A.K. were handed over to officers of the Judicial Police of the Court of BiH.

Officers of the Bosanski Brod Border Police Unit yesterday at the Bosanski Brod border crossing denied entry to five persons from the territory of Kosovo into BiH because they did not possess the travel documents prescribed for crossing the state border. The foreign nationals were issued decisions refusing entry into BiH, the Border Police of BiH announced.
