Cocaine seized at GP Deleuša, two persons arrested

(Patria) - Authorized officers of the Indirect Taxation Authority, in cooperation with officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency, seized at the Deleuša border crossing between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro 600 grams of an unknown substance which, by its appearance and structure, resembles the narcotic drug cocaine.

A detailed inspection of a vehicle of the make Audi A4 with Montenegrin license plates, in which two persons with initials Ž.V. and S.V., citizens of Montenegro, were located, found two irregularly shaped packages wrapped in transparent PVC foil, containing a white powdery substance which, by its appearance and structure, resembles the narcotic drug cocaine. On that occasion, two mobile phones and a certain amount of money were also seized.

Field activities were carried out pursuant to orders of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH and the Court of BiH. In cooperation with authorized officers of the Indirect Taxation Authority and the State Investigation and Protection Agency, the suspects were brought to the premises of SIPA and are undergoing criminal processing, after which they will be handed over within the legal deadline to the further jurisdiction of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.
