Foodini's Main Stage to Feature Indonesian and French Cuisine

The second Foodini good food festival will be held on March 10, 2015, at the UNITIC business center, from 10 AM to 6 PM, as confirmed by the festival directorate, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

Dedicated to promoting good food and quality products, Foodini brings together restaurants, wineries, coffee and tea producers, cake and pastry makers, as well as domestic beer producers, pasta makers, and many others in one place.

On the main festival stage, there will be presentations of national cuisines and specialties from Indonesia and France.

The Foodini festival is a novelty in Bosnia and Herzegovina, characterized by the fact that food is prepared at the festival itself, allowing visitors to have a special experience watching culinary masters at work. 

The slogan of the second Foodini is "Gourmet is a passion based on sensitivity to things that please the palate," and the exhibitors' offerings will be varied and diverse, with prices adjusted to everyone's pocket, along with plenty of opportunities for tasting. Those who want to learn how specific specialties are prepared will have the chance to see and ask everything that interests them. Admission to the festival is free.

Visitors will be able to taste domestic wines and cheeses, delicacies of Indonesian and French cuisine, vegetarian dishes, street food, domestic beer, homemade gingerbread and muffins, various teas and coffees, ice cream, fresh homemade pasta, and much more.

Exhibitors at the Second Foodini Festival include: Restaurant Karuzo (Sarajevo), Restaurant Superfood (Sarajevo), Brew pub (Sarajevo), Cafe Restaurant Boulevard (Sarajevo), Embassy of the French Republic, Embassy of Indonesia, Gusto e Sapore (Tuzla), Natura Food (Bijeljina), Gelarto (Sarajevo), Zadro Winery (Domanovići), Vučić Winery (Čitluk), Tanjir.ba (Tuzla), Dobrekalorije.ba (Sarajevo), Plantago (Sarajevo), Bosniatelle homemade pasta (Sarajevo), Mljekara Livno, Kotanyi, Indo-Mie, Association of Chefs in BiH, Hausbrandt Espresso (Trieste), Prima kafa (Sarajevo), Masha Muffins (Visoko), and Medeni kutak (Sarajevo).

Festival partners are the Association of Chefs of BiH, Gastro – Provincija u pozadini, Inside by Ećo, and Hausbrandt Espresso.

The Association of Chefs of Bosnia and Herzegovina will present several interesting techniques and methods of food preparation, such as food preparation for children, preparation of food according to halal standards, and presentation of techniques and methods for preparing dishes that are prepared at European chef competitions.

At the Foodini fest, visitors will have the opportunity to try Zenica čimbura and pancakes from Gastro provincija u pozadini.

The Foodini festival will also be an opportunity for the Association of Chefs to present projects in preparation – the European Chef Competition, breaking the Guinness World Record for preparing Begova čorba, and the European Chefs Conference.
