(Patria) - Police today arrested an individual with initials A.B. in the Sarajevo settlement of Dobrinja, who had been sought since July 3rd.
This is the individual who attacked police officers with lethal force during an attempted arrest, confirmed for Faktor by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Canton Sarajevo.
According to unofficial sources, Amar Bašić was arrested, who on July 3rd in the Švrakino Selo settlement attempted to run over police officers with a vehicle and fled.
On July 3rd, police officers of the MUP KS arrested two men in the "Porto" operation, conducted to shed light on the criminal offenses of robbery and grand theft.
During the attempt to arrest the third, Amar Bašić, he attacked them and fled, and the officers were forced to shoot to protect their lives.
No one was injured, and a search was issued for Bašić that day.
Unofficially, he attempted to resist arrest again today in Dobrinja. On that July 3rd, in the "Porto" operation, two men were arrested, 25-year-old A.H. and 24-year-old A.K.
