Jasmin Mahmuzić heads the FBiH Banking Agency

The FBiH Government has proposed to the FBiH Parliament, which makes the final selection, that following the tender procedure, Jasmin Mahmuzić be appointed Director of the FBiH Banking Agency for a five-year term, and Dubravka Bošnjak as Deputy Director for the same period, reports Patria agency.

Mahmuzić is the SBB's proposal. In July 2015, he was appointed Executive Director for Sales at UNION Bank. Previously, he was the Director of the Sarajevo Branch of Sparkasse Bank from 2009 to 2015. Before entering the banking world, he was the director of the company Polet, owned by the family of Hilmo and Mujo Selimović.

He is a former scholarship holder of the US State Department, possesses extensive business experience, and after obtaining an MBA degree from the University of Delaware, he is also pursuing doctoral studies at the Džemal Bijedić University in Mostar. He was born in 1973 in Tuzla.

Dubravka Bošnjak holds a PhD in Economics. She also works as an advisor to the Management at Operator Terminali FBiH. Since 2013, she has been an assistant professor at the University of Vitez, Faculty of Business Economics. She has worked at the Development Bank of FBiH and the Investment Bank of FBiH.
