Armed Croatian citizen arrested in Baščaršija

SARAJevo, (Patria) - On Tuesday around 5:30 PM in Telali street, Old Town Sarajevo municipality, police officers from the Department for Combating Narcotic Drug Abuse, Criminal Police Sector arrested M.S., born in 1999 in Sarajevo, residing in Ploče, a citizen of the Republic of Croatia, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that she committed a criminal offense under Article 74 of the Law on Narcotic Drug Abuse and K.L., born in 1993 in Sarajevo, where he resides, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed criminal offenses under Article 74 of the Law on Narcotic Drug Abuse and Article 239 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Possession and enabling the use of narcotic drugs).

During the search, M.S. was found to be in possession of and had confiscated a "CZ" pistol, caliber 7.65 mm, with a magazine and four bullets of the same caliber, for which she does not have a permit from the competent authority, while K.L. was found to be in possession of and had confiscated a pistol magazine, without ammunition. Based on the Order of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, a search of the apartment used by K.L. in the Centar Sarajevo municipality was carried out. During the search, one packet with dry herbaceous matter resembling the narcotic drug marijuana and one hand-rolled cigarette "Joint" were found.

The duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton was informed, and they were handed over to the premises of the Unit for Securing Objects and Detaining Persons Deprived of Liberty of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton. Police officers are continuing the criminal investigation of the mentioned persons.
