Traffic regime changed on A1 motorway on the Sarajevo west-Tarčin section

Favorable driving conditions and occasionally increased traffic characterize today's traffic situation in most of BiH, reports the Patria news agency, BIHAMK reports.

On the A1 motorway, the traffic regime has been changed on the Sarajevo west-Tarčin section, where due to regular maintenance works, the left tunnel tubes in the Gaj and Igman tunnels are closed until midnight tonight. Traffic has been redirected to the right tunnel tubes and is moving in both directions. We ask drivers to drive at reduced speed at these locations and to respect the temporarily placed traffic signs.

Among other roads with ongoing works, we highlight the main roads M-4 Čelinac-Kotor Varoš, M-5 Rakovica-Blažuj, M-6 Čapljina-Stolac and M-18 Brod na Drini-GP Hum, as well as the regional road R-445 Semizovac-Podlugovi.

At the Doljani border crossing on the exit from BiH, the wait is about 45 minutes, and at the entrance to the country about half an hour. At the Bosanska Gradiška border crossing, delays at the entrance to the country are up to half an hour. At other border crossings, there are currently no longer delays.
Please note that due to works in Croatia, traffic for freight vehicles is prohibited at the Brčko-Gunja border crossing.
