Olivera Jevtić and Stanly Kipruto Fastest at 5th Konjic 10k

(Patria) - The international festival Konjic Summer Fest concluded today with a special event for the youngest participants - a crawling race. 13 babies participated in this activity, and the victory went to little Đana Ćosić.

The main event of the festival, the popular Grawe Konjic 10k, was held yesterday with around 500 runners from 12 countries competing on a 10-kilometer course. In the men's category, Stenly Kipruto from Kenya took the victory, while Bosnian runners Uroš Gutić and Ante Pokrajčić took second and third place.

In the women's competition, Olivera Jevtić from Serbia won first place, while Bosnian competitors Alma Hrnjić and Lucia Kimani took second and third place. Olivera Jevtić has been involved in athletics for 33 years and has an impressive record of success, including winning a silver medal at the European Championships in 2006 and holding the Serbian national record in 11 disciplines.

In addition to the main race, participants also ran a 5-kilometer course, and the fastest male and female residents of Konjic were declared. In the men's-women's relay, Esad Bijedić and Amina Harbat took first place, while Emir Hastor and Aida Hastor took second place. Third place went to Mirsad Fulana and Emina Begić.

The fastest female resident of Konjic is Melisa Fišić, while the fastest male resident of Konjic is Ali Halilović. The Mayor of Konjic, Osman Ćatić, supported this year's 5th Grawe Konjic 10k by participating.

Particularly noteworthy is the youngest participant, Nudžejma Alić, who bravely ran all 10 kilometers. She mentioned that she trained with her father and was confident she would finish the race. She also plans to register next year.

As part of the international festival Konjic Summer Fest, the BINGO KIDS RUN event was also held, which had a humanitarian character. 171 children participated in this race, filling the streets of Konjic with energetic strides. This event raised funds amounting to 1,220.00 KM, which will be donated to the ANDALUS Konjic association.

The funds from the humanitarian race will be directed towards children's scholarships.

After the ceremony and the announcement of the best and fastest participants, the audience enjoyed a concert by Frenkie, Kontra, Indigo, and DJ Soul.

On the first day of the festival, important business activities were held, including a business race, a business forum, and KSF EXPO. At the Garden City Business Run, which covered a 5 km course, an impressive group of teams competed. With exceptional success, the NSoft d.o.o. team won first place, demonstrating outstanding endurance and speed. Second and third place went to the teams from Senigor d.o.o. and Eurosjaj d.o.o. respectively. These companies also showcased excellent sportsmanship and professionalism during the race.

The Garden City Business Run not only provided an opportunity for healthy competition among companies but also promoted team spirit and physical activity in the business environment.

In addition to the business race, the festival also organized a business forum, providing a platform for professional networking, idea exchange, and promotion of business opportunities. Participants had the opportunity to hear from inspiring speakers from various industries and participate in productive panel discussions.

KSF EXPO, another important event on the first day of the festival, offered companies the opportunity to present their products and services to a wide range of visitors. This exhibition space created an environment for promoting new innovations, building business connections, and connecting with potential clients.

Next year, Konjic Summer Fest will be held from July 5th to 7th.
