Music for Peace and Remembrance: Sarajevans to honor victims of terrorism in Barcelona at Eternal Flame

At noon, exactly at 12 o'clock, at the Eternal Flame in Titova Street, artists Nejla Komar and Fatima Mehmedović will perform Albinoni's Adagio and play music for peace and remembrance. The gathering is organized by the International Center for Peace, with the aim of condemning terrorism in Barcelona.

“Musica per la pau e la memoria – For the innocent victims of terrorism in Barcelona – NO PASARAN”, is the name of the event which will honor the innocent victims of terrorism in Barcelona.

Citizens of Sarajevo will express their condolences, share their grief and pain with the families of the victims and those who suffered in the madness of terrorist attacks on innocent civilians, send messages of solidarity to the citizens of Barcelona, Europe and the world, and raise their voices against terrorism and violence.

Sarajevo and Barcelona have been sister cities for more than 21 years, and Barcelona stood by the citizens of the capital of BiH during its most difficult moments.

We remind you that 13 people were killed and more than 100 were injured in the terrorist attack that occurred in Barcelona on Thursday. The attacker drove a van over pedestrians in La Rambla street, in the center of the Catalan capital.
