(Patria) - Police officers of the Novi Grad Police Department found the lifeless body of woman E.M. (1992) in an apartment on Bosanska Street. The doctor from the Emergency Medical Service pronounced her dead at 3:00 PM. It was determined that the death occurred by violent means.
Due to reasonable suspicion of committing the criminal offense of Murder, Article 166 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at 8:10 PM, in Aleja Lipa Street, in the Novo Sarajevo municipality, A.B. (1989) was deprived of his liberty.
Under the supervision of the prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, police officers of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton are undertaking all measures and actions within their jurisdiction to document this criminal offense.
They are former partners, and the man took the child with him after the murder. After negotiations, the killer was arrested and the child was rescued.
