One person was seriously injured and two were lightly injured in a knife terror attack at an underground station in East London. The attacker, before being subdued and arrested by police officers, shouted "this is for Syria", according to the London newspaper Evening Standard.
Police have called the attack at the underground station a "terrorist incident". The attacker's identity is not yet known, only that he is 29 years old.
