SARAJevo, (Patria) - On the night between Thursday and Friday, police officers of the Seventh Police Administration arrested S.B., born in 1990 in Bosanska Krupa, residing in Bužim, on grounds of suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Article 189, Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of BiH (Human Smuggling).
S.B. was found driving a "VW T-5" vehicle with license plates E31-J-548 on Igmanska Street, Vogošća municipality, carrying 18 persons - migrants, who did not have identification documents with them.
The duty prosecutor of the BiH Prosecutor's Office was informed, and the arrested person was handed over to the premises of the Unit for Security of Facilities and Detention of Detained Persons of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
The migrants were transported to the premises of the Service for Foreigners' Affairs. Work continues on documenting the mentioned criminal offense, as well as finding another person connected to it, whose identity is known to the police officers.
